2009 "Trees of Sharing"

Posted

The Key Peninsula Veterans Institute and our local community donated 202 gifts to American Lake Veterans Hospital.  The gifts included men’s and women’s wallets, gloves, umbrellas, socks, hats, books and stationary with stamps.

KPVI members Ginger Zampini, Eddie Suchanek, Jack and Thelma Keel delivered wrapped presents this week for patients to volunteers Jeff and Mike in the hospital receiving area.  Each year the Key Peninsula Veterans sponsor a community collection called the “Trees of Sharing."

KPVI wishes to thank each person who bought a gift, wrapped it and returned it for pick up. We also send our ongoing gratitude to all our military men and women, both Veterans and Active duty, for their dedicated service to the United States of America.  May you take the time to visit a Veteran over the holiday season.  Merry Christmas to all!
