Bike Race at Key Pen Parks Gateway Park and 360 Trails

I’m a 7th grader at Key Peninsula Middle School and a part of the Peninsula Pirates Mountain Bike Team. We practice at Gateway Park one to two times per week and occasionally have races there. These races can have as many as 600 kids at the race. Talking to the other kids, I’ve asked where their favorite place to race is, and it’s almost always Gateway Park. Everyone loves racing here.

Thanks to Key Pen Parks for letting us rent the park for the weekend of the race. It’s a big opportunity for all our racers and brings a ton of new people to our area. We apologize that our race will limit our community’s use of the park from May 31 to June 1, 2025.

Although it may inconvenience you, it’s a great opportunity for our local Key Pen Pirates to show our great 360 Trails to kids from around the state.
