Get tested if:
  • You might have been in contact with a person who has COVID-19.
  • You could not maintain safe physical distance from others at a gathering.
  • You have symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, chills, coughing or shortness of breath.
Where to go:

Most health insurance plans cover testing and treatment for services necessary for COVID-19. The state insurance commissioner ordered all health plans his office regulates to waive copays, coinsurance and deductibles for people requiring testing for COVID-19. Copays and deductibles still apply for treatment.

Antibody Testing:

Fred Meyer is offering rapid antibody testing at its pharmacies to help inform patients if they have previously been infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. It is not a test for new infections.

The test uses a finger-prick blood sample and typically provides results within 15 minutes. It costs $25.
