Genuis Act Regulations On Payment Stablecoin Issuance, Offer and Sale Due January 2027

Posted

Digital currency seems like a great way for the self-appointed digital overlords to keep more of our money in the company store.

It’s the same scam rehashed, used by the old mining companies where you can only buy products in the company script in the company store, with a markup, of course.

Now BlackRock and the other 140 digital gulag players want the same privilege and have drafted a law to make it so.

The Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act (GENIUS) would enable the psychopaths who are collapsing society to legalize an extraction model through stablecoins that would make a parasite proud. And the proposed law is also designed for control and manipulation.

Except it may kill the host or the users.

Stablecoins are a generic type of cryptocurrency different from specific types you may have heard of, like Bitcoin or Litecoin, whose values can fluctuate wildly hour to hour. The value of a stablecoin, such as Open USD (favored by BlackRock, Visa, Morgan Stanley, et al.), is “pegged” to a stable asset, like the dollar, so it isn’t supposed to move much.

Open USD is governed by an independent company called Open Standard and is designed to move massive amounts of money for business transactions around the world faster and cheaper than the traditional banking system with all of its pesky guardrails.

But here’s the real payoff: According to the American Enterprise Institute, “An issuer of a billion dollars in stablecoins that puts it in three-month Treasuries will make over $40 million per year at current rates. They cannot pass any of that along. The GENIUS Act prohibits stablecoin issuers from paying holders ‘any form of interest or yield.’ ”

What’s not to like?

A rush to redeem stablecoins if they lose their 1:1 value — “de-peg” — because of an issuer’s dwindling reserves or fraud (Enron, anyone? Lehman Brothers?) would again leave consumers holding the (now empty) bag.

In the end, it’ll be interesting to see what survives. America and the great American people, or the small but powerful parasitic predator class who have hijacked our government.

And in keeping with the Orwellian tradition of naming laws the opposite of what they are (the Patriot Act was for domestic surveillance), the GENIUS Act is anything but.

The public may comment on it until Oct. 19 here: https://www.regulations.gov/docket/TREAS-DO-2026-0496
