The Gig Harbor Turkey Trot is the best way to kick off Thanksgiving Day. Come out with family and friends to celebrate the holiday by running a 5k. Sign up is available online and organizers request each participant bring two cans of food as a donation to the local food bank. No dogs are allowed on the course per the City of Gig Harbor.
All proceeds go to FISH food bank, a local organization called Food Backpacks 4 Kids, the Bischoff food bank, and local high school scholarships.
