We are SO excited to be back in person for outdoor events in 2022. If you have a passion for the life in the Salish Sea and want to help Harbor WildWatch inspire stewardship on the beach this summer, this training is for you. No experience required; all training provided through a hybrid Zoom and field trip format.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Even if you can't make all (or any of the sessions), registering using the link below will help us update our active volunteer list. Registered volunteers will also receive recordings of the volunteer training sessions for future reference.
April 5: Introductions
April 12: Salish Sea Ecosystem
April 19: Biology Basics
April 26: Species Highlights
May 3: Species Highlights part 2
May 10: Human Influences in the Salish Sea
Then mark your calendar for an in-person beach field trip at the Fox Island Sand Spit on May 15th at 11am so we can put your knowledge to practice!
