Local Election Results: Kelly is New Fire Commissioner, All Incumbents Returned

Posted

Key Peninsula voters elected John Pat Kelly to the board of fire commissioners and overwhelmingly returned three incumbents to office in an off-year election Nov. 7 with an 18% turnout.

The Pierce County Auditor’s office estimated less than 10,000 ballots remain to count county-wide, so these initial numbers are unlikely to change much. The final vote count will be certified Nov. 28.
