Regarding Katrina Herringbottom

Congratulations on another year of putting out an outstanding newspaper that, in many ways, is the glue that holds this community together.

I don’t think I had ever read a feature on cooking and recipes in any other periodical, but once I started reading your KP Cooks by Katrina Herringbottom, I was hooked. She is a gem! Her articles are pithy, grounded, and just fun. I would nominate her for whatever category she qualifies for an award, and they may need to establish a new category just for her.

If you are like many guys, you probably skipped over the “recipe,” but do yourself a favor and read hers. You will be surprised, entertained, and learn a bit about cooking. Keep up the good work.
