Following a career in advertising and design, Tim moved to a leaky cottage on the north side of Filucy Bay in 1999. While renovating the cabin, he served on the LIC board, helped raise funds for local nonprofits and joined the newspaper staff in 2016. In just a few years the KP News became a bigger, brighter newspaper, filled with award-winning photography, stories and ads under his design and operations leadership.
Today, ten years later he continues to design award-winning ads for the paper every month from a small town on the coast of southern Portugal.
