Thanks for Skate Night

As a parent of two middle schoolers, I want to thank the Key Peninsula Civic Center for hosting Skate Night on Fridays and Girls Volleyball on Mondays. These are great opportunities for kids to put down their cell phones and get some much-needed physical activity. The success of these programs proves that if you give kids something fun to do, and if their friends are there, they will show up. Kudos to the KPCC Board, and I hope our Key Pen Parks Board is taking notes.
