Kim Hickman

Kim Hickman, formerly of Lakebay, passed away peacefully in Anchorage, Alaska, after a short battle with cancer. She was 64 years old.

She never met a stranger, which made  her the perfect bartender at Lulu’s Homeport, the Huckleberry Inn, and later at Empire Pizza.

Kim enjoyed family gatherings, trips out on the boat with her parents, and visiting California. She loved all animals and rescued many.

Kim is survived by her mother, Lois Hickman of Thousand Palms, California; sisters Lisa Bianco (Mike) of Anchorage; Ronni Crabtree of Boise, Idaho; brother Mike Hickman of Lakebay; nephews Richard Sanders, Michael, and Jeffrey Hickman; nieces Codie Stevens (Greg) and Meriah Crabtree; and great-niece Alena Stevens, all of Gig Harbor.

We invite our family and friends to a celebration of life for Kim to share stories and remember the good times June 28 at 2 p.m. at the Gig Harbor Eagles on Burnham Drive in Gig Harbor.

Please come ready to share your favorite memories of Kim. Refreshments will be served.
