Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and reverend, Lorraine Thompson (aka Lorraine Hart) of Gig Harbor, died June 24. She was 70 years old.
Music was the center of Lorraine’s life; it was her passion and joy since childhood. Lorraine spent her life as a singer and songwriter, and as a poet who brought joy to her many different communities. She was also her daughter’s caregiver, dedicating her later life to her well-being.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Matthew; son Aaron; daughter-in-law Alicia; daughter Lianne; and grandson Andre, as well as many other family members all over Canada, the U.S, and Europe.
Friends and family are invited to visit with the family at their house Sunday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m.
Instead of flowers, please consider donating in her honor to the Angel Guild or The Mustard Seed Project. Both organizations were near and dear to Lorraine.
She will be missed.
